and who is this...?

Can you guess who this is?
It's been huge over here! And most french people really like this guy - who is he and what does he stand for?

Here is a typical Parisienne house - lots of little windows and balconies and wrought iron balustrades. Look at the interesting roof line too and all the chimney pots! Years ago almost every room had its own fireplace, but then the French government stopped this because of the smoke emissions problem - so most of them don 't get used any more.

Out for lunch...

George Pompidou Centre

 Today I am at the George Pompidou Centre - a museum of Modern Art. It's a great structure. All it's exterior is exposed and it has an external escalator so you can see Paris as you ride up it, to the top floor!

Charles arrives in Paris

Hi Room One, I have made it to Paris! What a great life I have. I have already had some great adventures around this beautiful city, and made more friends. I have heard you are doing some work about Structures...hope you like my photos of one of the world's most famous structures. Talk soon!
